It costs about $5-$10 to get from the airport to the villa as it’s located about 6 minutes from the airport. You will be provided with an electronic pass to enter the community. At the house you will be greeted by our helper Kemberly and she will give you a house tour.

Electricity is  expensive in this country as it is imported from other countries (mainly via natural gas). The rate per Kw is 0.36 USD cent. The biggest electricity expenses come from air conditioning. Therefore don’t forget to turn them off when leaving the room. And don’t forget to close the outside doors while air conditioning is in use.

The stoves, bbq, water heater and dryer are using natural gas that is included in the rental price.

The electricity is measured electronically and is visible to the owners through a special website. In addition, there is a green electrical post in front of the house where you can take the readings before your check-in and after your check-out.

WiFi Network name is “Olivo 30” and wifi password is “olivo2022”. The internet speed is 20Mb/10Mb.

House Maid services are included in the house rental price. The name of the maid is Kemberly, she is fluent in French and speaks ok in English/Spanish. Her main job is to make your stay as comfortable as possible and to keep the house in the ideal shape.

Kemberly can help with washing your cloth and iron it, she can cook meals for you (if you provide ingredients and recipe), she will change your beds, wash dishes and will keep the house clean throughout your stay. She is very friendly and became part of our family.
 
Kemberly works 5 days a week Monday-Friday 9am-5pm and she also will come for checkout. If you need her help outside of these hours – please arrange directly. Her rate is $40 USD per day. If you want to leave her a tip after your stay – it would be greatly appreciated. 

If possible – we kindly ask to provide lunch when she works for you.

Pool Service comes 6 times a day (except Sundays) in the morning. If the pool is dirty during the day, you can clean it with the provided net.

Swimming Pool has a night lighting. The switch for the pool is outside near the kitchen. To change the colors you can turn the switch on and off several times.

Garden Service comes twice a month during the day. Let us know if there are any issues with the garden and we will arrange extra cleaning.

In general Punta Cana Village is a very safe place and we never had any issues of violance or robberies. Plus there are security guards who randomly patrol streets during the night. 

There are three entries to the house: front door, side door and backyard windows.

Front door is controlled by electronic lock. You can download TTLock app on your phone to connect to the lock and manage it electronically. We generally keep it unlocked during the day and lock it during the night. 

Side door is controlled by a physical key. The key will be provided during check-in. 

Backyard windows don’t have a key, so make sure you lock them during the night. 

Tap water is not drinkable in the Dominican Republic, so be very careful where you drink from. Always take filtered water with you or buy bottled water. It’s very easy to get Ameba or other stomach viruses here. We have 2 WaterDrop filtered water taps in both kitchens, please wait for about 30 seconds until it gets under 35 particles and fill the jars with water beforehand if you don’t want to wait each time.
